Choosing a photographer or videographer for your wedding is a big decision. We understand not everyone is comfortable in front of a camera and what is important to you may not be the same as another couple. Every wedding we shoot is different and we recommend meeting to have a chat and get to know each other a little before you make a decision. This allows you to share with us what you are looking for and also gives us the opportunity to explain how we work and for you to see our work. We all have to be comfortable working together to get the best results. For more information about our prices can be found here.
We will often do an engagement shoot with our clients before the big day so that you can get used to being in front of a camera. The location for this depends on you and we are happy to recommend somewhere if you would prefer not to do it in the studio.
On the day, we work as a team to make sure we have all the angles covered, blending into the background so that we capture what happens rather than directing it or getting in the way. We will know from you before hand the running order and approximate timings as well as any formal and informal shots you may particularly want. Depending on whether we are capturing still or moving images there may be other elements to consider like whether the church will allow cameras or where microphones will be placed. If you have chosen to capture both still and moving images, we work with a third photographer so that we can keep up with all the dull but very important things like changing batteries and memory cards.
While you are off on honeymoon, we will start editing your still images and the many hours of video footage. Within a week we will provide you with a highlight reel of you still images and/or a short film trailer. On your return we work with you to put your album together and to review the rough cut of your full wedding film to make sure we have included all the most important bits. There are some examples of completed films on our Facebook Page.
Once finalised, your beautiful handmade Queensberry album will wing its way to you, all the way from New Zealand. We have chosen to work with Queensberry because quite simply, they are the best (we are only a little bit biased). We are proud to present our images in their products and we want you to be proud to share them with your friends and family and future generations.
